The PS5 is getting another console exclusive next year. Developer Moon Catalyst recently revealed its game Psycho Dead (stylized PSYCHO DEAD) will come to Sony’s video game console.

Psycho Dead is a third-person survival horror game where players control the psychic-powered Elixia as she tries to escape a secret laboratory. While the premise is simple, her journey is not. Anyone interested can check out the trailer below to see the game in action.

What is Psycho Dead?

Here is a brief description of Psycho Dead:

“‘PSYCHO DEAD’ is a third-person survival horror game centered on Elixia, a mysterious girl with psychic powers, who must escape a secret laboratory infested with grotesque and monstrous creatures. Explore a sci-fi setting filled with mystery and danger, where terror awaits at every corner, and discover the truth behind the horrific incident.”

Players who have a gaming PC and are interested in Psycho Dead are in luck. The game has a demo available to download on Steam right now, allowing players to experience the first 45 to 60 minutes of the upcoming game.

There is a PS Store page for Psycho Dead, but it cannot be preordered just yet. However, players can add it to their wishlists right now.

A specific date for Psycho Dead has not yet been revealed. However, it currently holds a broad 2026 release window.

The PS5 has been receiving some interesting-looking console exclusives for the past couple of years. Last year, the fan-favorite action game Stellar Blade was met with favorable reviews, receiving an average score of 81 according to review aggregate website Metacritic. Back in August this year, Lost Soul Aside launched for the PS5. However, unlike Stellar Blade, it received mediocre reviews.
