A new PS5 game dropped on the PS Store out of nowhere yesterday, and while it flew under our radar, those who picked it up have been left impressed. Stealth adventure game Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is yet another visually stunning AA game set in early 1900s Scandinavia, and players who’ve checked it out are unanimously praising its strong narrative.
New PS5 game Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream has taken players by surprise
Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream was brought to our attention by its intriguing PS5 launch trailer. Developed by River End Games, the title tells the story of a girl named Hanna whose brother has disappeared from the city of Eriksholm.
“Her search for him sets off a chain of catastrophic events that will change not only their lives but the fate of the entire city,” the synopsis reads. “Join your allies and outsmart relentless enemies using your wits and cunning to stay ahead and uncover the mystery behind his disappearance.”
Over on the PS Store, the game has already garnered a score of 4.96/5 based on 84 verified ratings. On Steam, player reviews are “very positive.”
“No marketing for this whatsoever and then all of a sudden it’s out,” a player wrote. “Just picked this up today, and it only took a few hours to realize how incredibly immersive it is,” wrote another.
Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream is $39.99 on the PS Store. I’ll certainly be checking it out myself as I’ve been quite impressed by recent AA games like RoboCop: Rogue City.
