PS Plus Premium has quietly added a free full game trial for one of 2025’s most divisive new titles. Published by Devolver Digital and made by a trio of indie developers, Baby Steps launched to a mixed reception last week, with its reviews ranging from overwhelmingly positive to overwhelmingly negative.

Baby Steps is a unique physics-based walking simulator with an interesting premise. It’s not an easy game, judging by its reception, and can truly test players’ patience and skills. It’s for this reason that we think Baby Steps would have benefited from a free demo for everyone as opposed to a full game trial for PS Plus Premium members only.

Nevertheless, there’s a lot of chatter about Baby Steps, and Premium members can see what the fuss is all about for a whole hour. If the trial convinces you to make a purchase, then there’s some good news: Baby Steps is 10% off for all PS Plus members, regardless of tier, on the PS Store. The game costs $19.99 without the discount.

As a reminder, all game trial progress (including trophies) carries over to the full game.
